Family Tour

This 1-hour, 16-mile guided Family Tour starts at the Sunlight Meadow and winds you deep into the White River National Forest through a lush forest of tall pines and stunning Aspen groves. 
All operators must be 16-years or older. 
All passengers must be 6-years or older. Max 1 passenger per operator. 
Departure Time: 10am, please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure

Adventure Tour

This 2.5-hour, 30-mile guided Adventure Tour treats you to magnificent 360-degree views of Mt. Sopris, the Sawatch Range, Elk Mountains, and Flattops Wilderness. Then, it's off to the backcountry of Baylor Park where everyone has the chance to play! 
All operators must be 16-years or older. 
All passengers must be 10-years or older. Max 1 passenger per operator. 
Departure Time: 12:30pm, please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure

Trip Information

General Information

A signed release of liability is required prior to all tour departures. You are responsible for any and all damages to the snowmobiles. Renter's Insurance is not available for purchase.

Trip duration and miles may vary due to weather, trail conditions, and/or the guide's discretion.

Rider(s) should not exceed 450 pounds per sled.

Gratuities for your guides are not included in the cost of your tour, but are greatly appreciated!

Arrival Policy

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your your departure time. We strive to leave promptly at the scheduled time of the tour. All late arrivals are subject to missing their tour with no refund. 

Meet-Up Location

Our HQ is located at the at the Trailhead of Babbish Gulch, which is located right at the turn into the Sunlight parking lot. If you've made it to the Sunlight Lodge, you have gone too far!

Please park across from the houses, not in the Gnarly Inn parking lot.

How to Dress

We will provide a helmet for all guests, but make sure to wear appropriate clothing on your tour. Make sure to have a good winter coat, snowpants, waterproof gloves, and winter boots. This tour is at a high elevation, so we recommend bringing water, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Please check out our guide on what to wear

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days (1 week) in advance of your scheduled tour to receive a refund. Late arrivals may forfeit their tour without a refund. Please contact us at snowmobiletours@sunlightmtn.com if you need to make an adjustment to your reservation.

How many Snowmobile Tours are there per day?

Two tours are offered daily.  The Family Tour departs at 10am Mountain Time and the Adventure Tour departs at 12:30pm MT.
