The Mountain Course

18th Hole on the Mountain Course at Sunlight Mountain ResortFind the first tee (8,160 feet) for the Mountain Course on the edge of the West Deck of the Sunlight base lodge. The Hole 1 basket is downhill, to the right of the Tercero lift load station (look behind the giant trail map!). Next, hop on over to the Segundo load station to tee off for Hole 2 that sits about 240 feet uphill in between lift towers.

From there the mountain course ascends the mountain, be prepared for about 400 feet of elevation gain.

Mid-course traverses the mountain, until you reach the tee off for Hole 13 at 8,556 feet in elevation.

Complete your round descending the mountain for the remaining holes ending at the stunning overlook at Hole 18 where players can enjoy unleashing their thumbs toward the basket that sits a few hundred feet below.

The Babbish Gulch Course

Lower Cabin at Babbish GulchIf you love technical disc golf then you're going to love Sunlight's 27-hole Par 3 Babbish Course that travels through thick mountain forest of pines and Aspen. Enjoy gorgeous wildflowers of all colors in the spring and definitely do not miss fall colors in these wide Aspen groves when autumn comes.

Find the first tee (8,160 feet) for the Babbish Course along the south side of the West Parking lot as you enter Sunlight Mountain Resort. The first tee is marked with a red basket located about 50 yards to the east of the row of mailboxes as you enter the parking lot.

The First Hole basket begins your uphill ascent. In the spring you can enjoy a stream crossing at the 7th hole located along Sunshine Trail. The course continues gentle gains in altitude until your reach Hole 13 at 8,404 feet.

Enjoy the scenery at the 18th hole located at the Lower Cabin that was originally built in the late 1800s. From there the mountain course decends along Olf Four Mile Road taking you back to the West parking lot.

East Ridge Course

This course winds through aspens, pines, and open meadows, providing challenging throws and fun lines. If you're from a lower elevation, you can play the first five twice and skip the steeper section.
